Step one: Apologize for you rhetoric against the Police and recognize that every organization has bad apples.

Step two: Step down as an elected official and endorse someone who will do what you spoke out against.

Only then will I have any respect for this so-called "lawmaker."

Did you read the story? She has never been anti-police and she is not actually tied to the defund movement.

I did read it and you might have noted since it first came out:

“Note: This article was updated to make clear Young left Craig's office last year. It also includes additional context to show past support for police from her office.”

There was blinding flash of light as the consequences
of their statements hit the voters and voting booths.

Dishonest headline and article.

She had a staffer - one of many - who supported the defend movement. She also has pro-Trump staffers. She appears to truly not care about your political ideology, but rather your professional capability.

Staff are entitled to their own opinion, and the insinuation that, despite her pro-police record, she is "tied" to the defund movement just because a staffer was is dishonest in the extreme.
