Interesting. I stopped playing that game in 2011 for two reasons:
1)I got sick of 12 year olds calling everyone racial slurs and being generally rude.
2)I was upset that they decided to make hard won achievements easy for everyone after I ground out the effort in the original fashion, i.e. Insane in the Membrane, raising rep values, etc.
This silence penalty might have fixed the 1st problem.
