Did you ever participate in a Band of Brothers LPD, using the TV show?

For a period of about 10 years, it seems like every single LPD in the entire Army would quote the show or reference the characters in some way. Then for another few years, people moved past the show and tried to reference the actual people.
Did you ever participate in any of these various training sessions we were all experiencing? I remember in Germany that I managed to get the documentary (the one that shows at length all the interviews of the actual veterans) to play on the DFAC TV's, on June 6 each year. People would literally stop eating to watch and many would later thank the DFAC manager for playing it.
Were any of these studies good? Did they make an impression? Did you hate it? Did you like it?

Was the S6 NCOIC for 2nd BN 506th IN, 4th BDE, 101st ABN DIV from 2007-2012, and 4th BDE 101st from 2012 until we deactivated in 2014... At times it seemed like EVERYTHING referenced back to that show! LOL Even had a commander get our companys back to their original designators (Dog, Easy, Fox, etc...)

I was in the DSB for the 101st recently. The spirit was still strong when I rolled through, nothing wrong with embracing history and carrying a legacy. But, the support of the show did get played out too much, Army wide, in my opinion. If someone is in the 506th, it makes sense. But for every single unit to try and be like a Hollywood WW2 paratrooper... it got worn out.

I haven't, but I have been trying to figure out ways of incorporating that show into my LPD here in Honduras.

I never saved any of the slides, lol. However, the show came up in discussion with my friends in the civilian world. I might put together some very general leadership / Christian LPD. Let me know if you're interested.
