MSgt Lionel (Leo) Rondeau I can see his point. Disabled Veteran is no charge, Purple heart is a vanity plate? Doesn't really make sense. The two go hand in hand, unless of course New Hampshire is separating the disabled part from the veteran part. That too really would not make sense. I am a veteran who was not wounded, and does not have any service related injury, IF I were to become disabled, would that make me eligible for a disabled veteran plate in New Hampshire? At that point, it is degrading the honor the state is trying to show to its disabled veterans. So it is one of those where not All purple heart recipients are disabled, not all disabled veterans are Purple Heart recipients. So maybe they should have two disabled veteran plates. One with the Purple Heart, and one without.

That was my thought exactly. But I still think it is amazing that the state charges $180 for a servicemember who served and was wounded.

If he can get one for free he should be able to get the other as well

Highly unfair, MSgt Lionel (Leo) Rondeau. This WWII Veteran Earned his Purple Heart.
He should not have to pay for a Thing; with regards to his Purple Heart.
My opinion, Master Sergeant...
-With My Very Best Regards, Margaret
