PORTAGE, Mich. — The first of many freezer-packed COVID-19 vaccine vials made their way to distribution sites across the United States on Sunday, as the nation's pandemic deaths approached the horrifying new milestone of 300,000.
The rollout of the Pfizer vaccine, the first to be approved by the Food and Drug Administration, ushers in the biggest vaccination effort in U.S. history — one that health officials hope the American public will embrace, even as some have voiced initial skepticism or worry. The first of two shots are expected to be given in the coming week to health care workers and nursing home residents.

I don't trust drug companies to tell us the truth about adverse side effects, let alone efficacy. The whole development process has been far too rushed, particularly the clinical trials. When that much money is on the line, drug companies WILL and DO lie to the FDA to get their product approved and on the market.

MSgt Paul Connors I participated in a clinical trial several years ago, and when the drug company released their report, they denied the worst side effect, something that is still causing me problems to this day.

Maj Marty Hogan I'd think you're in the first group based on your Reserves job.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen we are Tier 3. It is also voluntary. I just havent read enough on it yet. We spent 13 years developing one for the first coronavirus shot and it did not happen. So six months and we have it is troubling to me. I am sure they will mandate this soon.

Reality is they will need 4 or 5 other vaccines approved before there is enough availability for the majority of the US to get vaccinated.
