Sen. Mitt Romney didn't hold back his criticism. Key points from his remarks:
- Why didn't we give our allies, the Kurds, heads up warning, advance notice as clearly our Turkish allies had plenty of heads up?
- If this was truly bringing our troops back from Middle East and ending endless wars then why did we send 2,000 troops to Saudi Arabia?
- Now we know Erdogan threatened to send his troops into N. Syria even if we had US troops, did the US really give into his bluff? An appearance of US weakness in being afraid of Turkey's threat?
I don't like Romney but his comments raise interesting questions.

Almost would agree with Romney if he put the interests of the country before his political ambitions but then there is always that in the back of my head. This guy had no problem wining and dining with Trump well long after people knew how Trump would be as President his intent was to score a Cabinet position. Now he wants to criticize Trump which is OK, Trump needs the feedback but I always ask with Romney what is his end game and in this case it seems like he wants to run yet again for President. I hope I am wrong and I hope this is what Romney honestly feels but then the question is , why so public?

He wined and dined with Trump; Republicans and Conservatives were loving it; in the end Mitt got a family member (Ronna McDaniel) the job of RNC Chairwoman and not himself. Lets keep that in perspective.
