While I am sure there are situations where a Veteran is left out in the cold, fundamentally I would have to disagree. The VA offers many programs to Veterans, unfortunatley it is challenging ensuring that Veterans are aware of what they offer. If Veterans do not regiser we cannot hold anyone else accountable for there inaction.

So they told me that they only help people that have had money problems because of the Military

I am close on losing my home and seems like everyone I call for help the first ? they ask are you homeless and I tell them no and they say we only help the homeless

There are other resources. First I would ask these people that you're calling for help if there is a service they can recommend. There are also (usually) community services that will assist veterans at risk of homelessness.
