You would be advised to contact a service recruiter to get the most up to date information. I'm sure there would need to be more information given to answer your question effectively.

Unfortunately, when i contacted a recruiter and asked about re-enlistment, he told me no because he, and i quote, "refused to take that chance"

If I'm not mistaken with that code you can try to reenlist with a waiver or exception to policy. Depends on the situation.
