If you could make changes to the way you have experienced pre-deployment SRP, what would they be? Or does SRP work just fine?

Overall, I think that it serves its purpose, Sir.
I believe that there should definitely be more time spent on financial matters and how to properly ensure things are taken care of. how to save money and build a good foundation.
Of course it has been a bit since I went through a true SRP. I know where I am currently at it seems as though they just rush people through to do the bare minimum. I am not even sure they last team who went out had a chance to fully get prepared.
I think these days many may be rushed without concern for the younger Troops who do not have much experience.

I agree. Too many times I signed my name at a station without even being briefed. And the Soldier at the desk could not answer my questions. They need subject matter experts working each station. Especially finance. Sometimes I wish there was a sort of SRP for the spouse staying behind.

Definitely, Sir. Souses need to be involved in the whole process as it is thier job to manage everything while the Soldier is gone.
Single Soldiers seem to be forgotten. Just because a person is single does not mean that they do not have a bunch of affairs to handle. When I deployed I owned a home and two vehicles. That is a bunch to plan for when you are gone for that length of time.
