If the current issues boots gave you stress fractures there is not much hope for a future with the military. To care for them request Physical Therapy and follow their guidance.

I realize I started off on the hard side. Many people who join the Army get stress fractures in their feet and shins. You can recover, I assure you (not a physician) it is not likely the boots rather all of the activity that your body was not used to. Get Physical Therapy, follow the guidance and you should be fine.

That is an excellent question PV2 (Join to see). You have to take care of you. I had a 1SG counsel me, after a back operation, when I was a PSG. I was running with the slow group and she chewed me out for not taking the time to heal. She told me, and I tell this to whomever I think needs the same advice. She told me "the Army doesn't care about you because there is always someone to replace you". So take that advice and get yourself treated and buy yourself some good boots.

MSG (Join to see) so many soldiers health has been ruined because of the pressure/attitude that only the weak go on sick call.

SGT (Join to see) - I am an example of suffering that leadership mentality. As such...I do not play around. If my Soldier says they are going to sick call, then so be it. Same with BH. Tell me where you'll be and tell me when you're back.
