The county I live in has Veteran I.D. cards, but you pay for them, the county I'm originally from, and the one just west of me do them for free.

It appears to be legit but the success answer came back really fast for me. i.e.: Less than 1 second. As a software architect, this is pretty much unheard of. But, it says I can start shopping at the Exchanges starting November 11th. We'll see.

Still trying to track down where to get, sign up for, the Vet ID card.

About time. Here in WI you can get a designation of veteran on your driver’s license. I did that when I renewed it last year. It is nice to have an ID card you can carry on you to prove veteran status. So many businesses now have discounts and such for veterans this makes it so much easier to use those.
