SFC Michael Hasbun - I've been seeing articles from the writers/showrunners for Season 6 and they're moving away from the crime solving and be a more "intimate" season.
"Showrunners Ildy Modrovich and Joe Henderson opened up in an interview with Collider about the “much more intimate” nature of season 6 and why 10 episodes is the perfect number needed to finish the story."
Also: "Lucifer showrunners Ildy Modrovich and Joe Henderson reveal that season 6 of the hit Netflix drama will see a time jump for its final season."
Also this from writer Chris Rafferty: ""But when we were faced with doing one more season – uh oh! Chloe's not a detective anymore! What do we do for cases of the week? Luckily, you can't take the detective out of Chloe, and we had no trouble finding the narrative drive for the stories in our final season arc.
"If anything, it pushed us to be more creative than ever. Our 'cases' will be more personal than ever, allowing us to really focus on our main cast of characters as we approach the end.""
So she won't be a cop in Season 6 but she can't just stop investigating things either it seems. Production has concluded on Season 6 so there will likely be teasers over the months until Season 6 airs.

Technically Samael Morningstar is a DC comic character...but the 'devil' of Abrahmic religion is a fictional character as well so...yeah.
