I can not find any article regarding wearing a full-size medal with skill badge and weapon qualification on Army ASU in DA Pam 670-1.
For example, I have 6 full-size medals, CAB, aviation badge, expert shooter and driver badge, how do I place those bagdes.
Thank you!

SPC(P) Ngyen,
Great Question! DA PAM 670-1: It depends on which badges you intent wear. Driver and mechanic badges are not authorized for wear. You may wear up to 3 combat or special skill badges. And the devices will go below the medals. I found numerous photos of the Old Guard wearing them above the medals (Thanks for the idea CPT E). Please see:

Here is an extract of a book call Wear It Right Army Uniform Book:

Proper wear IAW with DA PAM 670-1 states:

Wear of Full Size Medals:
Personnel may wear U.S. and foreign unit
award emblems as prescribed, when wearing full-sized medals. When
full-sized medals are worn, personnel may wear up to three combat and
special skill badges or metal tab replicas (or a combination) from groups
1 through 5, but may only wear one combat or special skill badge from
either group 1 or group 2 one above the other, above the medals, in order
of group precedence. Personnel may not wear the driver and mechanic
badges with full-sized medals, and they may not wear special skill and
marksmanship badges below the medals (DA PAM fig 20–4 on page 97).

I’ve worn mine on Military Funeral Honors details and to special events. Nothing like looking to the guys who spend hours a day perfecting their uniforms. Sergeant Major when I was an NCO I was told always look your best, the Old Guard as far as I’m concerned is the best looking group of Soldiers. If I looked like them I most likely wasn’t going to be questioned. Thanks for the shout out.

It may sound crazy, but when I’ve worn mine I have looked at the Old Guard Soldiers and how they wear their medals/badges. A good visual reference is always helpful.

A few years ago I went to a formal... no one said I was wrong.
I got the “Anodized” medals from a commercial vendor. Expensive, but worth it, only problem is it cost a lot to add new medals (it involves remounting the whole set) & new devices to the medals.
Enjoy the event and look your best!
Reminds me of the old cadence, “Standing tall and looking good, you aught to be in Hollywood...”
