When should i get promoted to SPC?
I’ve been in for a little over 2 years. I’m green on my Medical i have a passing pt test and no negitive counselings or Article 15’s. My last promotion to PFC was more than 6 months ago. Who should i talk to about this?

Sometimes things take longer in the USAR. Use the NCO Support Channel and ask if you can speak to the Unit Administrator about it. If you're doing all the right things, you shouldn't have any problems.

Wow, 2 years and still E3? I am really surprised. In 1968 I started basic training on 23 Mar 1968 and by 23 Oct 1968 I was E-4. I think during the Vietnam era rank was much easier to attain. Good Luck to you.

I think it's because in Vietnam you might not have survived long enough to pick up rank if it hadn't been!

Promotions are always quicker during war time. With the current promotion system, where promotions through E4 are completely automatic, 2 years isn't unusual.
