In a bid to be more inclusive, the Army in 2017 authorized beards for Sikh soldiers as part of an ongoing study into how facial hair and head coverings affect the integrity of gas masks designed to protect troops in chemical attacks. But if it were up to the military’s most senior enlisted adviser, the issue would be off the table.

I second the motion, I'm not too overly fond of seeing beards out in the field.

The only real issue is knowing the difference between a medical issue and infatuation.
When they speak of beards it’s always in a infatuation manner, somebody who just wants to wear one. Most of the wanter’s, don’t even no the regulations for wearing one, they just wanters. This also goes for most the objectors, they are medical discriminator thinking its a issue. Let a person performance be who he is not his look...
