The most pointless comparison ever presented on television (or anywhere else). So what? Do people who shoot at ballistic gel also commit mass murder? Maybe. Some might. Most won't. What does that have to say about the great numbers of people who own 9mm pistols or Ar-15 semi-automatic rifles? Absolutely nothing. This report has one purpose and one purpose only: To continue to stoke the fires of fear. It is a "news report" prepared by people with little knowledge of firearms for an audience with little knowledge of firearms, and it does nothing to make them more knowledgeable. What this report accomplishes more than anything else is to remind me of the low standards of journalism...

I’m not really sure what this piece is trying to accomplish. In my 19 years in law enforcement I have seen plenty of people shot with pistols, rifles, and shotguns. One of the most devastating murders I have seen, as to what it did to the body's internal organs was with a .22 caliber bullet shot out of a single action revolver. The victim bleed out and was only minutes from the hospital. Not to discredit what the Special Forces guy was showing, and he was right, to a point. But I have seen several ballistic gel demos where the company will shoot 5 or 6 rounds into a single gel block and the rounds that they are testing will have different penetrations and exit areas. Then they will change the block for their ammo and it will show better results. If you shoot into something multiple times it will degrade and the holes will become larger. I do think that they hit it on head with training people to stop the bleed! I think that is important not just in shootings, but in other trauma events as well. Criminals will find a way to commit mass murder! If they are using a firearm, vehicle, or any other device they can build to accomplish what they set out to do.

Unfortunately, we've seen that to be true, here, & in Europe. A friend went on a medieval pilgrimage in medieval clothing, all the way. Of course, he had a standard knife used at the time, but had to hide it or be arrested for a blade too long. What ridiculous tactics. One way or another, if someone wants you dead, badly enough, he'll find a way.

This report lost all credibility with two words"ar-15 bullet"did they shoot a 5.56,223,223 Wylde,224 valkarie,6.5 grendal,458 socom what did they shoot listen if your going to talk about firearms at least know what your talking about and they failed to mention that the 5.56 which is most probably what they shot is designed to tumble that's what made that huge hole if it doesn't hit bone it doesn't leave that big of a hole

For crying out loud. Whoever puts this garbage together needs to man up and admit their socialist agenda and that they can't impose their philosophy on the ftee thinking citizens as long as they are armed.

Because if the actually learned anything about firearms then that wouldn't fit their anti gun retoric. Their made-up terms like assault weapons, high velocity rounds and all the others they use wouldn't hold water. Instead of actually trying to educate people all they want to do is use fear tactics in trying to control the public that's why they won't acknowledge that a far greater number of people are saved by concealed carry permit holders then the lives that are taken.

I do think some folks have quit drinking the Kool-aid, Cpl Chrysler. There's a movement afoot where numbers of Black people, previously in the Democratic pocket, are looking around & seeing the truth... It's never been about helping a segment of the population to improve their lives, but is all about POWER.
