I don't see/hear anything in this that is particularly new beyond the prediction that "it [economic collapse] may occur in the next 6 months." Given the sponsoring source (an investment company in the case of your citation), I score this as an attempt to build urgency in the viewing population and of course the primary speaker is selling books - though that isn't the main thrust of the presentation.
That said, I find the supporting argument / logic pretty compelling, though will readily admit assessing global financial markets is not on my list of qualifications.
