Well the Democrats allowed East Germany to sell it's prison labor products in the United States during the Cold War 1980's so this really does not surprise me. Probably some big Democratic Party fat cats making a ton of money off this somewhere.

No doubt to me someone is making money. It seems to be a trait of our current Progressive Socialist Democrats that they don’t do anything without making some money for themselves: be it Hunter selling influence to enrich the Biden Family, or Pelosi sending large sums for funding to her home District for something that really doesn’t need the money.
