What are your "must haves" in terms of medications to bring to the field?

I am not a combat medic - but I am a Boy Scout Asst Scout Master and mom of three boys. I carry Benadryl & Advil, skin glue, butterfly sutures, mole skin and those awesome hydrogel pads for burns. And by carry I mean in my purse at all times. I take an ice pack when we are campig and hiking along with an ace bandage, gauze and rolled bandange. Lots of bandaids. For me so I can sleep when we camp I take melatonin tabs along with any pain meds or muscle relaxants I might have in my home so I can sleep at least two hours . When dirt bike riding I bring a whole case of ice backs and bandages because for some reason other parents never bring a first aid kit. I should add that using super glue to secure butterfly sutures works very well. Just first pull skin together and put butterfly on - then glue the day lights out of it. The dirtiest scout will come home with a half healed wound if you do that.

Ceralyte, Bactracin, Ibuprofen, Tylenol. Really don't usually even need most things you bring but it is always going to be best to pack what is considered the "essentials" and any meds/items that are specific to the field environment you will be in. (Most common injuries/illnesses for that field terrain, mission activity, and climate you are in.)
