Military Changing Body Armor to Accommodate Women's Hairstyles

Well, I know this will stir the hornets nest and get a few hormones pissed but somebody’s got to do it. Why do we need special body armor for women? You want to be part of the front lines then don’t ask for special equipment. If your damn hair gets in the way, cut it off like the boys do. You gear will fit and you won’t have little critters in it to pass around and you won’t stand out a different soldier with the mass of hair flowing out from under your helmet. Sounds simple to me.
