This gives an interesting slant on China. I still think our/US smart play would be to get RU into our alliance, against China. We are going to need help in the struggle against China.

It would be a smart move, but POTUS has so many whiners not letting him do his job. Imagine what they would say if we have a new treaty with RU!?!? Better, I like what China would think.

At that time China and Russian were both major powers in multiple ways, and we were playing equals against each other. Now outside a a nuclear war China
can simply ignore Russia. Russian economically it is less powerful than several US states (Texas, New York and California) and politically has few friends with any clout. We are systematical pissing on the Nations with real power to go against China economically or diplomatically. Russia simply has no leverage to use against China

There is a really good movie on China out now on AT&T Cable called "The China Hustle". If you can, rent it.......it's worth the money. Very interesting documentary. Not sure how much of it is true but if even a little bit is true, we have a huge impending financial bomb awaiting us at some point in the future in regards to China. I don't think we have too much to worry about in regards to China, they have a lot of issues to fix outside of Trumps trade war............which has to be a gigantic distraction for them at the moment.

Sgt Wayne Wood - The Documentary is really, really well done. They have all these shell companies listed on the NYSE that are fradulently overvalued. They obtained the NYSE listings via merger with a defunct American Company. They are using the Chinese Audit Arms of Ernst & Young, Deloitte & Touche to pass the audit area which is another fraud. They show definitively in the documentary more than one sham company in China that are either barely operating or not operating at all BUT are showing huge profits on their U.S. Books shown on the NYSE.
