School board member apologizes for senator's grad speech - CNN Video

I've seen folks talking about this on Facebook and Twitter so I was curious. Clearly the man thought he would be funny in his speech at his Alma Mater but looks like it fell flat. The least he could've done was shave, button his shirt, straighten his tie, and look respectable like a congressman should. You know what they say, "first impressions matter".
