Think back over your entire military career. Maybe you received a medal for it. Maybe not. But whatever it was, which of your military accomplishments are you most proud of? Why does it give you so much pride?

I am proud of serving my country for half my life, for the faith that my country had in me, for enlisting as a Private and being given increasing responsibility and for having the chance to serve with mostly wonderful people.

Most of all I was proud to be able to tell my father (a retired CW4) that I was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel 10 days before his death.
