‘How dare you?’: Pence rebukes Harris over her abortion remarks

This is what VP Harris actually said:
"Those Republican leaders who are trying to weaponize the use of the law against women — how dare they? How dare they tell a woman what she can do and cannot do with her own body? How dare they? How dare they try to stop her from determining her own future? How dare they try to deny women their rights and their freedoms?"
This is gaslighting at it's best. First, at conception there is another life to consider and that life is just as precious as the woman who carries it. But the liberal left wants you think of that life as a blob of cells. That is Biology 101 but as the newest Supreme Court Justice pointed out she is not a biologist. I guess the say could be said for the liberal left...so they do not have to deal with "inconvenient truths."
Second, having read Justice Alito's draft, while it reverses Roe V Wade, it does push the decision back down to states and the state legislators. Another bit of gaslighting that is supported by the general lack of knowledge of civics. Many of the progressive modern judicial decisions have been gross "over reaches" and not constitutionally driven.
Now we have Justices that want to swing back to a more strict constitutional focus. But to the "whatever it takes" liberals they see the pollical battlefield becoming more level and less corrupt. They can not have that because (as Rush Limbaugh used to say) in the arena of ideals they loose. They have to lie and gaslight who they really are.

It's gaslighting to pretend that taking away the rights of women to control their body is not "deny[ing] women their rights and their freedoms".
Assuming, for the sake of argument only, that the zygote/fetus is a life at conception (which is a stretch, even the Bible doesn't say that), what gives that life the right to enslave the life and organs of the mother?

Gregory ... Simple, it is not slavery because that woman engaged in a voluntary act that she knew could result in a pregnancy. Now do not think of the pregnancy as enslavement but as voluntary indentured service brought on to the hopefully enjoyable and pleasurable sexual act. From the fetus point of view, abortion is not voluntary and some would consider manslaughter or at worst murder. The fetus is helpless and has no say in the matter. Now, if the woman has any conscience and a belief in God, it is an act once taken can not be undone and they will agenize over and over again. Just ask my daughter.

Finally, in the United States, god has no place in the law. Your religious beliefs are not sufficient to justify laws that impose your religion on others. Besides, the Bible didn't consider abortion to be murder, see Exodus 21:22 where causing the death of a fetus is punishable by fine only, but killing a human was punishable by death.
