I dearly love my Sig P320Compact, but I’d sure like to get a P365 to go with it.

MSgt George Cater - I need to strap one on. I've shot an XD and have a Glock (cough cough!) and an M&P shield. All .40cals. I'm not sure that one striker fired rig is that much different than the others. The trigger group itself is really the only difference. I've done trigger jobs on a few and at 3 pounds they can be fun.

Forgot to mention that the 320 has the best out of the box trigger ever seen on a striker fired pistol. Feels like about 3 lbs. Not just my opinion, it was mentioned in each shooting eval by every author I saw after it came out. To me it feels as good as my old .45 Match triggers and back then we had full time armorers on call to tweak our guns to suit our likes. (Yeah, we were spoiled ;-) Shooting the monthly matches at my local club, I don’t ever even think about the trigger, just focus on sight alignment and it breaks. Shoots a tight group, too, for a 3 1/2 inch barrel at 15 yds.

That’s 150 rounds at a recent match and the flyers are all me.

TSgt David L. - Well, most of the carry guns are too expensive for me to carry. I do love my Sigs, but I bought some of them as police trade-ins, and they work great and were cheaper than most guns on the list I also like the Taurus Millennium Pro 2 which didn't make the list, but is on sale now for only $199.99. Thanks for the post David.

MSgt George Cater - Nice. I just changed the trigger/sear/grip spring on one of my 1911s. About 3 1/2 pounds. I did and XD trigger job a month ago. Down from 8ish pounds to right at 3.

TSgt David L. I'll have to read up on some of those. I'm probably going to have somebody chastise me on RP, but I like the idea of that polymer frame 1911. I've never held or shot one so it may be good in theory but a hot mess in reality. Let the opinions fly! I like the fact that we still have some good choices to choose from and some innovative ideas.

SGT Jim Arnold - Hahaha I've seen the pic before. Something about not having to worry about my dog chewing up a 1911! LOL

Bad doggy... bad owner, too. I saw that before and I think it’s hilarious. Mainly because it isn’t mine! I’d be pretty mad at myself if that happened. Can’t blame the dog, he was just doing what dogs do.

SGT Jim Arnold - That's just a mild stippling job for a better grip is slippery conditions.
