Why don't Postal Federal Employees receive a day off after Christmas, as other Federal Employees do?

Most of these Employees(postal) are are retired Veterans and/or just Veterans of the Wars they served in.

My Stepfather is one of these people, and he always works his knees, hands, and feet for this Land we live in to the bone: this post is made to the people that don't care about where their present(s) came from(he's always smiled about everything, even if it was devastating, and even in family issues).

I hope my father has a good retirement away from the mass, but he's always been a workhorse, and I don't know if he'll ever give it up.

SGT Joseph Smith Per Executive order....
"Postal Employee schedules on holidays are governed by the Collective Bargaining Agreement which does not include provisions granting employees holidays simply because they have been granted to federal employees. Even though the postal holidays are also days that the federal government recognizes for federal employees, the source of holiday recognition for postal workers is the negotiated agreement."

Ever heard Postal Workers and the union complaining about the fact that the postal service has to about $5 Billion a year to the federal government? Do you know why? Its because of the ridiculous pensions they receive and can't afford. In the past 3 years I have made 4 complaints against postal workers being rude at the post office, carriers delivering the wrong mail "daily" and one even wrote on my mailbox with a marker because he didn't want to look for the address on the house or the other side of the mail box. Federal postal workers don't deserve the day after Christmas off for free. If they want it off they need to take vacation time and they can have it off. If postal workers actually cared they would chastise their fellow workers who hurt their reputation, take a cut in their pensions and give up their GS status so they can be held accountable for their actions because currently you can't hardly fire them.
