You're probably right. Those ulta-macho environments seem to train up people who do not know how to determine when enough is enough.

1SG Steven Imerman - I'm not so sure it was really so much of the ultra-macho environment. In the Marines it was just tradition. Traditions die hard, sometimes never!

Yep, sounds about right. On the other hand, hazing in the Air Force consists of hiding the hair drier.
