Well, I am back. I survived my first weighlifting class since I can't remember when (before the accident/surgery) so at least 3 years...and I made it all the way through. Not pretty but it will get better. First step...where have I heard that before, LOL?

Good for you, ma'am! I started doing CrossFit about a year and a half ago. It was tough at first, and LOTS of soreness, but I've progressed quite a bit since then. Hang in there and keep at it. I promise you, the results are WORTH IT!! The most important part is that your bone density will increase, and you won't have near the risk of broken hips and other injuries when you're older. My mother is dealing with that now, and I refuse to end up in her situation.

Lt Col Charlie Brown - Oh, wow! Bless your heart! Well, you will certainly go a long way toward preventing further injuries with the weight-bearing exercise.

SSG William Bruno There are a few posters that would take exception to your opinion.
