Only way to deal with a home invader, aim center mass and end the threat. Basic fundamental of firearm safety, "do not point the weapon unless you intend to destroy the target". Saving tax dollars is just an added benefit.

That's the problem we have with weapons. Too many have one to show what a big guy/gal they are, and have no idea how to use it for the intended purpose.

A wounded adversary can still be a threat. Eliminating the threat is the goal.

We were all taught shoot center of mass to kill. People in their home have a right to defend themselves.

We have a few here in Florida that are not afraid to speak their mind. Grady Judd in Polk County is like that.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen -
I worked for him when he was a Captain during my short stint with Polk County S.O.
He's pretty blunt, most people like that about him.
I remember about 10 years ago a deputy and his K-9 were killed. Grady said that when they located the guy, he shot at them and they put about 80 bullets in him. A reporter was trying to make something of it when he asked why the deputies shot him so many times and Grady said they ran out of bullets.
