10 06 2020 President Trump’s administration is weighing more crackdowns to ensure American taxpayers are not footing the bill for the cost of legal immigrant welfare dependents to the United States. Last year, the Trump administration published a new regulation that made it more difficult for welfare-dependent legal immigrants seeking green cards to permanently resettle in the U.S. The regulation...equates to a nearly $60 billion tax cut for American taxpayers.
The (proposed) regulation would effectively prevent citizens who are dependent on welfare from sponsoring foreign nationals for green cards unless they have an additional sponsor who has not taken welfare.
“If your income is so low that you qualify for means-tested welfare programs, why should you be allowed to sponsor new immigrants?’ Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) Director of Policy Jessica Vaughan wrote in a post of the proposed regulation.”
A no brainer.
America was never meant to be a Welfare nation, citizens or non citizens.

Illegals should receive NOTHING. They are illegal. Process them all and return them to their country of origin as fast as possible. And for each illegal that gets into the system, deduct 100k per from federal aid given to that country. Aid is supposed to help improve the conditions of said country to prevent this type of BS and illegal immigration is a symptom of the corruption and miss use of funds as intended.

SSgt William Quinn You are totally right on. My take, some force has wanted to slowly incapacitate this country for sometime by overwhelming systems, then scorning common sense and justice so right answers never reached.

MCPO Roger Collins:
Undocumented Democrats,
I think this is a good correlation, The problem as I see it is the Democrats agree with nothing that President Trump has accomplished and being negative about every thing.
I would say undocumented is a good description of their position of it all.

Immigration control is not unique to the U.S. Every nation has its own version of immigration laws and controls. Try to force your way into Mexico and demand benefits. The Mexican constitution specifically denies non-citizens, among other things, the right to vote in elections, economic benefits, etc. Fly into Mexico City-- the Federales tote machine guns. They're not playing around.
Bermuda requires all tourists to show a return ticket out of Bermuda before they are allowed to enter. You also sign a declaration that you are not there for employment, and that you will not engage in any type of employment while you are there.
Grand Cayman requires one to have on deposit, at least $250K in a Cayman bank in order to apply for citizenship.
Why should the U.S. not control it's own borders and who we allow into the country?

The US has every right to have a greatly controlled immigration here: it’s a privilege not a right. The USA has been like a great continuous out-of-control party where multitudes of crashers have been encouraged in while the owners of house keep footing bill for party.
The Question is: Who’s been behind all the sloppy protocols, weakened restrictions and lack of strong laws ?
