Good evening RP,
I'm trying to get Microsoft Teams to improve their Planner app and the more votes a suggestion receives the more likely Microsoft will action it.
If you have a moment, please go to the following link and click vote.

https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/926545-teams-for-government/suggestions/40340575-team-planner-expansion

Thank you for your help!

So what you really want is to leverage Dev.Azure.com it has a really great scrumboard.. you can attach the boards directly to your teams channel as a tab. It works great.

Also that uservoice lacks any specifics on what you want.

I'll check out Azure. Thank you.

Your request isn’t very clear to me. Based on your request, it already does that. I use planner for myself and my team and it does what you’re asking. What exactly do you want to improve? Please elaborate.

My battalion has five companies, each company has 30-60 Soldiers assigned.
I would like to create a task that every assigned Soldier is required to complete. As they complete the task they would update their individual status and that, in turn, updates the progress of the company and the battalion.
I would also like to add and remove Soldiers as they move in and out of companies and the battalion.
If this is possible, it would allow real-time progress reporting of taskers and benefit overall command and control.

2LT (Join to see) this is much clearer and thanks for elaborating. The owner(s) of the Teams group have the ability to add/remove users (in your case soldiers). That’s the easy part. This may not exactly solve your issue but, creating a Team for each company that you are an owner of would allow you to keep them all separate based on their company. As for “tasks” assigned it might be possible to create a task in one group and then copy that task to each Teams group. I haven’t tested this but it may resolve your issue.
