Ticks are everywhere. Your pets can and do bring them into the home. When you feel the bite or begin to itch check the area for them. Seed ticks are small but can still be spotted. Be careful when removing them. Do not try to burn them off. When removing them make sure you have the head of the tick thats buried in your skin. Any spray or wipe that carries Deets is effective in preventing ticks from getting on your body. Make sure you spray yourselves and your clothes before going out. When spraying the face make sure you clothes your eyes. Protect yourselves.

Good info. Whenever I am put scouting for deer or deer hunting, my clothes have been sprayed with Permethrin, inside and out. Works well for about 2 weeks per application.
