I love driving my car, anywhere and everywhere etc etc, would I be able to do Lyft or Uber as a side job on the weekends while being active duty? is that allowed, is it against any regulation?

A lot of people have side gigs, including Lyft and Uber. You just have to follow your commands guidance on moonlighting, which usually includes getting approval first.

SPC (Join to see) Instead of asking the RallyPoint community, you need to ask your leadership for the correct answer.

Your article is about civilian employees and almost nothing in it applies to the PFCs situation.

LTC (Join to see) - I have revised the link, but the bottom line is that approval is required.

This shouldn't be an issue at all as you are not "employed" by them but it doesn't hurt to let your Chain know what's going on. One problem you may run into is Uber and Lyft require your DL and Car to be titled in the state you are in. So If you maintain your ID at your Home of Record for tax purposes you will need to change it. Good Luck
