Say Thank You
There is no better way to conclude the framing of our day than by saying, “Thank you.” Students often ask me what I am thankful for. I tell them I do not have a long list of the incredible things God has accomplished in my life, but simply that he has not yet given up on me. I know that God is with me for the long (or short) haul of my life, all the way through eternity. Through his commitment to me personally, I still want to serve him, however imperfectly, I still want to know him better, and I still long for his love to take possession of me. His persistent care of me, his unyielding commitment to me and to the ins and outs of my life, and his uplifting encouragement in the face of my repeated failings and boneheaded mistakes is reason enough for me to be thankful. Even if I do not enter heaven with the band playing my song, I will be eternally grateful for his love.

LTC (Join to see) thanks for sharing an excellent way of believing in His love & our desire to serve Him... no better way of life.

LTC (Join to see) beautiful share, thank you.
It reminds me of another “simple” spiritual habit I learned about somewhere along the way… when praying for myself or someone else, to say a simple “Help me. Help them”
Pointing out that sometimes we make things way too complicated. Or perhaps can get distracted by our own ideas of what needs to happen rather than trusting that only God truly knows what’s best.
