Thank you my friend COL Mikel J. Burroughs for sharing a blog post which reminded me of Swiss-American psychiatrist Elisabeth Kübler-Ross's writing, As many know, she was a "pioneer in near-death studies and the author of the groundbreaking book On Death and Dying, where she first discussed her theory of the five stages of grief, also known as the "Kübler-Ross model"."
I studied her works for a paper in sociology while I was a USMA cadet.
Many are familiar with the model she developed without recognizing the author.
The five steps of grief she posited are: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance
This applied to PTSD sufferers and their families as well.

True, I find it distances you from family and friends. Nobody laughs and makes fun of me here. God bless you all.
