Sadly, there is still a lot of discrimination against women at the VAMCs, but I see it more from other Vets, not the VA personnel. When I take my wife to the VAMC, we still get those looks. It is like; "Why is SHE going in before me?" or even "What is SHE doing here?"

They need to mind to their own business and accept she has benefits there. More and more from multiple generations I see people believing they should go first without any knowledge of the other person's condition.
