I had the unique opportunity to help with the launch of and become a topic lead for the Junior Officer professional forum (juniorofficer.army.mil). It is an Army ".mil" professional forum that can be accessed from a smart phone (no CAC needed).
Junior Officer is a place where current, future, and previous company grade officers can interact, have discussions, ask questions, post and find products, and receive mentorship on a peer/near peer level.
Again, access is restricted to current, future, and former (on a limited basis) company grade officers. This allows for a more open, honest and candid forum.
If you are, were, or will be a company grade officer, I STRONGLY suggest you register and check it out. Juniorofficer.army.mil

Interesting. I once was a company grade officer but am now a PFC. What is interesting is that this reminds me of The Junior Officers Association formed back in 1968(?). Our local "chapter" met once at Fort Shafter (Oahu, Hawaii) at which a colonel lectured us and we never met again. Better luck with this iteration...

Luckily the intent of this is peer/near peer development. Field grade officers are allowed admission on a very restricted basis.
