More "Tolerant" Liberals showing how much they "love" free speech....
I grow weary of this, while I agree ever American has the right to free speech that right does not give you the right to silence or attempt to silence someone else. That is intolerance and illegal. If you can not allow others to peacefully assemble to listen or rationally discuss a topic then you have no business being in America. I don't care what they are discussing so long as it isn't over throwing the government, plotting terrorist attacks, or several other illegal activity's. Everyone has the right to speak their mind, not shout and drown out any one else's voice.
This is Fascism by definition, that is what the Left now represent, every time they open their mouths I hear the third Rich or Mousseline come out. Only they can have free speech, if you do not agree with them your (insert derogatory name here) if you do not conform you are threatened, If you refuse to bend you are violently assaulted / protested / harassed.
So Tolerant the Liberal is such a boon to humanity, .... Such a Mental Disorder!!!

Rude or just a bluntly stated correct observation? Be honest, how many of these violent protests must conservatives put up with? Its ok to be opposed to someone's message but why is it they feel they have the right to shut up those they are opposed to? The KKK did that and we as a Nation refused to stand for it, The Brown Shirts of the Nazis did it and it got old Adolf elected, and that's where I draw the comparison.
Do you know the true history of the brown shirts? They were called the Sturmabteilung or Storm Detachment they got their nickname from the color of the shirts they wore. From 1921 to 1933 the SA disrupted the meetings of Adolf Hitler’s political opponents as well as defended the halls where Hitler was making a speech in public. They would dress up in ragged clothes and start riots then slip off as the fights broke out the police appeared powerless and law and order was usually restored by the SA who would return in their uniforms. How many violent protests have we seen from the left that the Police have been unable to stop due to political correctness?
I see the left cry about oppression and blame conservatives yet the oppression seems to happen mainly in Liberally controlled city's. We have spoken you and I on that topic before. Laws written by liberals and then brutally enforced by police.
Lets look at socialism, point me at a true socialist nation that has survived and flourished... you cant. Communism, is at the far left of the spectrum. Collectivism, they are all failed because we do not live in a perfect world. On paper they all look perfect, so glorious, so pristine, but the reality is they require EVERYONE to be exactly the same. You must be one of the collective, of one mind, for those to work.
How many more speakers must be silenced before it is questioned? How would you react if every Liberal was gagged, censored, protested, assaulted, drowned out so they had no say? When will this hypocrisy end?

I say one word and I'm at fault for social ills in our country? I'm not even going to address Nazis and socialism because that's a whole 'nother conversation. It's sheer hypocrisy to think that this is a problem that affects only one side. Everyday, there's a conservative complaining about liberals on RP. Like, when did I come by and trash your workplace? None of us did. I hardly think the protests are without merit, and you do not agree with the reasons. That's fine, but they're out there because they do. NC is pushing legislation that would nullify all gay marriage. Families are going to lose the rights afforded to married couples. That's real oppression. We have at least a dozen regularly posting RP members that this could harm. Notice that they haven't been around. The judgement and intolerance pushed them out. They got tired of trying to justify their existence.
That's hardly the only issue, but that's another conversation. For a minute, consider what people could really stand to lose before you write us all off as whining liberal snowflakes. I know you have some progressivism in you, I've seen it. I know you're able to find empathy, but a lot of people here don't. What are your intentions when you post?
