Recently graduated from Air Assault School and when I returned to my unit to turn in my Air Assault Certification and my order showing I passed my S1 said they can’t manually input it into my Soldier Talent Profile. They claimed the school house had to do it and they aren’t able to. Is this true? Just find this odd sense it was so simple to do with the ERB. Also, if this is true… how long should I wait before I contact the school house to update it? Because it’s still not populating on my Soldier Talent Profile. Thank you.

SSG (Join to see) When did you graduate?

The short answer is yes, the school house updates ATTRS upon graduation, which feeds into the rest of the systems. This may or may not result in orders published that add the SQI 2B. It takes a minute.

However, your BDE S1 is responsible for the SQI orders if the school house doesn't submit, so they need to come from your servicing S1.

If everything has been submitted, your talent profile will eventually populate. Is it showing on your ERB or in ACT?

I do not see it on ACT or my ERB/STP I did graduate only a couple weeks ago. How long does it usually take? Thank you, CSM.

SSG (Join to see) - Does your ATRRS self-service portal show that you graduated yet?

I got my ASIs/SQIs before IPSS-A implementation and we have not processed any SQIs since our transition so my experience will be anecdotal.

Some were updated within 2 weeks, others took a couple months even when I stayed on top of them. It all depended on the ASI (especially if your MOS or position didn't require it) or SQI and the servicing school house.

It was a simple process, but get convoluted with automated systems. I would have a conversation with your Chain of Command and NCO Support Channel, they can tell you better than I what needs to be done to get your paperwork to the right place.

I would talk with the S-1 NCOIC. Being S-1 just a duty for him/her and really not guna know a whole lot since probably only a 2 years job.
