Oh, really.
I can tell you that dead homeless are found almost every day across America. Does that number include them? Probably not.
Since it likely doesn't that says a lot about those "programs".

As a professional skeptic, I noticed a key bit of information missing from the story: number of housed veterans.

There are two MAJOR ways homeless populations can decrease. Everyone always assumes the first: becoming housed. But there is a much less discussed and much more sinister way: death.

COVID supposedly ran rampant in homeless populations and they were one of the hardest hit demographics for death (aside from older Americans - and the two groups are not necessarily exclusive of each other).

While a reduction in the homeless population is good on the surface, how much of it is due to dead vets?

Kind of like a drop in unemployment numbers from people who just gave up.


Now, I may be totally off base here. I read the article looking for details, but none were provided.

But skeptics gonna skept.
