Travel, Travel TRAVEL!! I assume you are going to the 173D right? I spent 5 years in that unit. Start as much of the PCS process as you can as early as you can. Shipping a car and HH goods will take a long time.

Yeah. I have some completely unprofessional advice for you. HAVE A BLAST! Never forget there's about a hundred dudes who wish they were in your shoes. Great opportunity!

Senior Drill, you are currently in my old BN, previous Professional 7 here. Have you been in contact with your sponsor? When is your report date? I can help you get in contact with the unit if needed. You really need to talk to someone in the unit as there are a lot of changes going on right now. Bringing a car? School aged children? EFMP? Please do not answer those questions, but some things you and your sponsor should discuss.
