I worked in several volunteer jobs that I liked better than the ones I was getting paid for. I'd take the volunteer jobs over the salary ones any day. When I was in the army I volunteered to be a photographer for the army newspapers in South Korea and had a lot of photos published. Sometimes the jobs that don't pay are more rewarding than the ones that do.

SGT (Join to see) I worked and went to school to obtain a degree for the career that I wanted. Working at my dream job where I made a difference, was what kept me going year in and year out. Money was never a consideration. While I was working on my degree, I had a high paying job at a chemical plant. With a degree, I had a big initial pay cut to work at my desired career.
