Is anyone's Commander balking at our newest uniform wear possibility? If so, do you know why?

When you get the Commander, or any leader for that matter, that balks or talks down the new policy....pull them to the side and remind their whining ass that they are setting the example for the formation they lead! If they cant get sleeves right without bitching and complaining, they might ought to look for something less arduous to do than pick up a dang rifle and defend our way of life!

CSM Michael J. Uhlig Damn old man,, it would have been a blast to work with you.... You keep injecting some basic common sense in the fight, all won't listen,, but the ones worth the effort are, and learning, and emulating

Rolling your sleeves is not rocket science... now the Army needs proper sleeves that can be rolled, to tight and looks like most soldiers wear the wrong size. Semper Fi.

Why all the worry over sunscreen? Do you think people wear long sleeves off duty? SMH

Make sure there is a pt belt around the arm as well lol. It amazes me that some of these Senior leaders that have been around since BDU's are acting brand new. Holy hell!!!

Because the sun kills (we know that better now than even the decade ago when we last wore BDU's). It killed my Uncle (metastasized melanoma) and if you aren't aware of the risk and take the right countermeasures it can kill you. Plus a bad sunburn can make a Soldier NMC for a day or two. Sleeves down means I don't have to have the Officers and NCO's ask and check each Soldier if they used sunscreen.
