So a mentally unstable person went to his former place of employment and slaughtered disabled people simply because of his belief that they should be euthanized? Then the asshat goes and turns himself in peacefully to the police so he doesn't get killed by them. He needs to have an accident in jail.

So why don't we see Japanese civilians demanding the right to carry guns everywhere? All other arguments aside, the fact remains that someone with a knife is only a threat to those within his immediate reach. In this case, he chose victims who were essentially helpless to resist.

Same holds true for the Tim McVeigh truck bomb, the Kobar towers truck bomb etc, etc etc. We have thousands of gun laws that ARE NOT FUNDED, that's the issue, we are not keeping guns from criminals and making sentances stiff enough for violators of gun laws on the books. The second amendment is exceptionally clear.
