Applying for a promotion at my theme park security job. I was told to practice behavioral based (name a time and place when) and tactical hypothetical (how would you handle) type questions. What is the best way to prepare?

Cpl Michael Burr I would review the Theme Park's manual on how to handle various situations, and then craft answers to hypothetical situations based on the policies in place. I would practice your answers to various situations until you are comfortable. Realize that some curve balls will be thrown at you, so be relaxed and answer to the best of your ability. Good luck Marine.

I am late to the game: but, do actual rehearsals with a friend or s/o, practice makes perfect!!

A fellow I know practiced 30 minute speeches. At the convention, he tied with a West Point graduate for being w/in 30 seconds of his scheduled time!!

PRACTICE SOUNDS DUMB - BUUT IT PAYS OFF IF YOU DO NOT HAVE TELEPROMPTER AND A BRAIN BEHIND IT!!!!

CSM Charles Hayden - Great response. During mu civilian career, I conducted many meetings, and gave many presentations. I would usually conduct dry runs to make sure the equipment worked, and my presentation was smooth. For the important presentations, I would enlist a co-worker or two to listen to my dry run.
