Where does "Awaiting HQDA Approval" fall within the FEDREC approval process?

Sounds like you're on track. Awaiting HQDA Approval is after it's gone through the NGB staffing process, has been scrolled and is now going through the HQDA wickets before being send to OSD.

I believe this is Step #2 in the process. It cleared your State, now HQDA needs to approve, then DoD Approval then Publication. That is, of course, if I am understanding the process in its simplest layout.

Just an update for anyone who might stumble across this post in the future. I received my orders around the 195 day mark. From what I have been told this is quite a bit longer than what should be expected. Sounds like there was an issue with processing all scrolls during this time and the government shutdown might have also have had an effect.
