I am looking for some formal training using the HF-ALE radio. Can anyone recommend where to find this sort of training? I am self taught, to this point, but am in need for additional schooling to get the system working at its full capacity.
I know the Civil Air Patrol utilizes this equipment, but I have not had any return emails or calls on the request for info.
I am Federal and have been sent to Ft Huachuca for training on the SKL.

Contact Harris. They have trainers who will come to you and provide training.

There are some simulators and training available through LandWarNet. I found a bunch of signal related training there. Signal.army.mil, is where I found the link. I think it was under CCoE, then Ditectorates, then DOT. Hope this helps.

We have a MICOM-3 that I load via a KY 99 from the DTD. I'm trying to learn how to send DATA and FAX info. Way above my head. I do deal with Harris for a lot of our other systems though.
