If the school had an armed guard the attack could have been stopped at the door.

Unfortunately, liberals are fixated on the term "mass shooter" which is more of an American media driven term.
"Mass killers" are far more prevalent than mass shooters and are responsible for far more deaths than "mass shooters".
The mass killer who drove a vehicle through a Christmas parade in Waukesha killed and injured more people than most "mass shooters".
In Countries that lack firearms, murders are not absent and, in many Countries, equal or exceed those in the USA. The weapons of choice are knives, poison, explosives, etc.
For instance, Australia banned firearms. Murders and assaults with weapons did not go down. The weapons just changed.

PV2 Larry Sellnow Larry, first we know these individuals aren't dealing with reality. Like this one, lived with her parents obviously her life style accepted by them because she managed to purchase 7 firearms and learned how to use them. So they weren't searching through her belongings. Life might not have been what she wanted, but she wasn't treated like a prisoner. I don't know anymore than you, but do you really think she had experienced any death? Did she have someone grip her shoulders and die while holding on, etc. I doubt it. So, I don't believe people in her state of mind can even begin to know the undescribable anguish they are leaving behind.
Second, she mentioned being on the news to her friend. In other words she is saying this will give her the attention she desires without a clue of the finality death brings. If she isn't seeking attention then she would go to some secluded place and finish her life privately.
And finally, is there a solution? Nothing is foolproof, but if the schools were to have security guards that are required to renew their qualification for that position. I don't mean just hitting the bullseye on a target, but actually having to go through a simulated course. If you saw the video how the police got to her and ended it that fast. Guards need to be that good. I doubt any harm would come to the security people if they are properly trained. The killers pick schools because they are easy and they themselves aren't able to comprehend dying.

PV2 Larry Sellnow Ok, you asked for suggestions and what you're talking about probably needed some improvement. I don't know. So what do you suggest?

You never know where you will find stupidity.
On a FOX show with Gutfeld, one of the guests was arguing in favor of gun control and how terrible the above incident was.
Then she said the absolute worse thing would be to have law enforcement at schools and the negative effect their presence would have on children.
Worse than having active shooters at schools???????????
Shows how brainwashed some people are.

The left relies on measures that give them political gain but avoid the realities of their measures.
Case in point, the left has put in place some of the most stringent gun control measures available including ones that run counter to the Constitution. However, they refuse to actually hold criminals accountable for violating the laws claiming it impacts the minorities the most. In other words, the laws they pass are practically worthless since they aren't used against criminals and only affect law abiding individuals.
