What makes an AGR application stand out (active to AGR)?

Good evening,
I put in my application for the Army AGR through HRC, what OTHER qualifications not mentioned on the process page can make my application stick out? I have my associates, deployment history, I am promotable and a 25B20. Other than PT, weapons, UCMJ/criminal history being clean and all the basic requirements listed on the AGR process page if anyone has any insight it would be graciously appreciated.

Sometimes especially with Guard units they are interested in any volunteer work in the community. It shows leadership qualities that go above and beyond normal activities. With your description it does look like you are squared away.

I was in the AGR and the AGR process is very much like the civilian marketplace. You really have to sell yourself and they usually prefer to select people they are familiar with. The only time I have seen AGR go outside of someone they knew was if no had the qualifications they were looking for. A lot of the AGR is hired by associations.
