Capt Gregory Prickett, I know you know my faith, so please don't take what I'm about to say as an admission of me turning my back on it. I will also always give you a thumbs up because you extend the courtesy to me, and also because we should not solely like posts that support our own views, sometimes we need to recognize the importance of opposing views.
I love reading and watching your posts. I have never been a fan of anyone claiming to be a Christian avoiding these topics. I believe that at some point, children should be made aware that choices of belief (or disbelief) should be theirs.
These videos are the things that will either strengthen a belief or weaken a belief, and I think that they need to be viewed.
The presentation of them is awesome, and most times extremely humorous.
One of the misconceptions of any belief is that you can't view opposing ideas, thoughts or beliefs.
I, on the other hand, believe this is the only way to grow.

SGT Michael Thorin - I don't think that you will ever turn your back on your beliefs, and I'm not trying to get you to change. I think, in many respects, we are similar, in that we can talk to each other in a civil manner, respecting the others position. A good friend of mine is a professor for a well-known Baptist seminary and we have similar conversations. He, of course, disagrees with my views too, but that really hasn't affected our friendship.

Capt Gregory Prickett-I believe you're right on our similarities. I'll chosen words and closed minded people have caused more wars and cost more lives than most anything else known to man.

A lot of christianese seems like code for the pretend christians to use among themselves to debase others. I wonder what joel osteen's code phrase is for, "Screw you Houston."?
